Airsoft
What is airsoft?
Airsoft is a simulation sport where 1:1 replicas of military armaments are used. Two teams compete but instead of live munitions environmentally friendly 6mm ball bearings are used (commonly known as BBs).
The idea is that Airsoft recreates a real military battle as realistically as possible. The sport is used by the army for training activities; even Special Forces use it in their exercises.
Unit 13 has two types of airsoft (18+):
*Private events:
This type of airsoft event is a true private event, especially organized for your group, and very suited for company outing, bachelor party, or just as friends among each other.

*Open events:
In this type of airsoft event, everyone is allowed to participate. With or without your own gear, alone or with a group, 1 or 2 days, it’s all possible.

What is the difference?
Private Event: Truly private and through different arrangements, you can suit this day to your specific needs.
Open events: On an open event, Unit 13 will use everything possible to make this day as thrilling as possible through the use of trucks, smoke, military basecamp, military catering, in-game sounds, in-game trucks, realistic missions and much more!
UNIT 13 open events rental kit
For €59.00 inc taxes per person [note! Minimum age is 18] per day the battlefield lies at your feet. You will be lent a camouflage outfit with safety goggles and an airsoft gun. 250 BB bullets per weapon are included in the price. Now you are ready for a fierce adrenaline rush. Unit 13 possesses real military trucks, jeeps and equipment with which to complete challenges.
There will be real commando tents present. Unit 13 will give you the impression that you are in a real military camp. You do not need any experience with airsoft to participate in an open or private event.
Considering the catering, even this is set up in a true military style. The catering is provided in cooperation with De ''Dikke'' Veldkeuken. Wat de catering betreft, zelfs deze is geheel in militaire stijl. They will prepare fresh meals on location, against a normal price.
Items include: Coffee, tea, soda, hamburger, cheeseburger, heart meal For instance: Fried potatoes with sausage, warm vegetables and salad.

Own equipment
If you have your own gear and would like to play at a Unit 13 skirmish that is no problem. Unit 13 offers different arrangements.
These consist of various options which can be selected.

No equipment? No problem. Unit 13 also rents out airsoft weapons to both private and business clients. Complete with camouflage gear and if required extra options such as a tactical vest.

Unit 13 only uses biodegradable BB’s.
We sell these per bottle of 3500 for 17.50 euros.
This perfectly manufactured BB is suitable for all 6mm airsoft replica guns.
We only allow our players to use bio-degradable BB’s.
Legality
As the weapons used in airsoft can hardly be distinguished from genuine weapons, airsoft is not legal everywhere. Sadly, one of the places in where it is not permitted is the Netherlands. In almost all of Europe, the United States and Asia these BB guns are legal but in the Netherlands they are not. Even when the weapons are carefully painted red or other conditions are met. Unit 13 therefore does not partake in any airsoft activities in the borders of the Netherlands but rather in neighboring Belgium.
WARNING : MINIMUM AGE IS 18.
Minimum number of participants for an arrangement is 15.
