FAQ – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the minimum age for airsoft ?
We hold a minimum age of 18 years for airsoft. There are no exceptions.
Can we drink a beer with you ?
Definitely, and also wine. However, we serve alcoholic beverages only after the event so as to guarantee your and our safety. Do let us know you would like to have these drinks so that we can take provisions.
Is it possible to pin at Unit 13 events ?
No, it is not possible to pin at Unit 13 events.
Please take sufficient cash with you.
What do you sell on location?
Almost everything you need to have a nice day. From BB’s, gas, grenades to safety glasses…its all available. On open events, we have even more stuff available, from upgrade parts to tactical vests.
Is the catering always available at Unit 13 events?
Catering is always available at the open events. Here you can enjoy a hamburger or something to drink. At the private events, catering is only provided on request.

What must I take with me for a day with Unit 13 ?
• Wear tough (old) clothing.
• Jeans are not advised; they dry slowly and are often rigid.
• Take clothes colored fitting to your environment. The less you stand out, the more you’ll feel at home! (in most arrangements clothing is provided by Unit 13)
• Wear as little nylon as possible; it does not protect against brambles, is flammable and loud!
• Firm, sturdy walking boots are a must, preferably military boots. Sport shoes are not advised!
For 1 day:
• Firm walking boots are a must, preferably military boots.

• Passport or ID card
• Insurance number / Health insurance card
• Medication
• Food and beverages (in case you don’t use the catering)
• Spare clothes
• Personal hygiene items
• Cash for snacks / bb’s and such (No ATM available)
In case you stay for the night:
• Tent
• Flashlight
• Sleeping bag
• Fire extinguisher (in case you plan to have open fire, this is obligated! No powder extinguishers allowed)
• Extra clothing
Am I allowed to bring my own BB’s?
If you rent a rental kit from Unit 13, this is sadly not allowed. However, BB’s can be bought on location. If you have your own gear, you are certainly allowed to bring your own BB’s, provided they are biologically degradable (not bio friendly!) and are registered in the AAB charter. Is it possible to charge my replica’s battery at Unit 13?
This is certainly possible on the open events. You can plug your charger in at the rental stand (verhuur) On private events, this is not possible.
Is there a minimum amount of player at Unit 13?
At an open event, there is no minimum. However, at a private event, the minimum amount is noted above the arrangement.
Are pyrotechnic materials allowed?
Pyrotechnic materials (that includes smoke grenades!) are allowed, if they are specifically made for airsoft use (no fireworks!) At the event however, the marshalls can prohibit pyrotechnic materials within certain area’s (Buildings etc) or for the whole day.
On woodland playing fields, it will be stated in the announcement. Weather will not play a role in this!
